The Whiskey,Beer,Soda,Porter, and Demi-John Bottles of Dr. T W Dyott and later From Dyottville.
Enormous amounts of Whiskey,Beer,Soda,Porter and Demi-John bottles were produced first at the Olive Glass Works,Gloucester Glass Works,The Union Glass Works and the Kensington Glass Works from 1806 to 1890. Different owners blew above mentioned bottles from this Factory complex of 18 pots in every imaginable color shape and form.
When I visited the archaeological site in the winter of 2012 what amazed me the most was the varying colors of glass shards, and factory cullet that was strewn about the recently unearthed factory site.Aquamarine was the most common color ,followed by amber, then Golden Amber, followed by Turquoise Blue, and greens in various shades including Olive Ambers, and lastly Blues ranging from light to deep Cobalt Blue.
